Description:Welcome to Salisbury Barbarian Exiles Rugby Football Club. We are an independent, self financing, Club sponsored by The Huntsman Tavern, Salisbury. The Ethos of our Club is simply to play good honest Salisbury Rugby. To the Exiles; Rugby is a family day out and as so, we have a good social scene that "almost always" includes the ladies!
The Club has it’s history in the Salisbury area in Wiltshire. Formerly part of Salisbury RFC, we have recently completed in our first season as a totally independent Rugby Club in league rugby. It is our aim to play all our 'home' games in Salisbury and to ensure that we get as much support as possible from the families for 'away' games, there can always be transport made available.
The Exiles Train at The Royal School of Artillery, in Larkhill, about ten miles North of Salisbury, during the winter months we train at Salisbury city school at the Westwood Sports Centre. Training is every Wednesday at 1845hrs. We normally meet up in the Huntsman after training. (to ensure the forearm and bicep get a good workout!!)There are showering facilities and a flood-lit pitch is also available at both locations.

So, why not come along to a training session or watch a game? Not feeling that energetic yet? Then why not just come along to The Huntsman for a drink or sample the good 'pub grub' menu and chat with the lads and lasses that make us who we are?

During the summer months we still train, we concentrate on beach rugby tournaments and sevens competitions,’ though the emphasis is mostly on getting a run-out and a 'pass-out’ for the Saturday!
