| Description: |  | AAC Rugby was founded in 1930 and is part of the bigger AAC.
Since the beginning AAC has been ever present in the top level in Holland. AAC has won Hollland's most coveted award, the van Broekhuizenbeker, as first contested in 1936, 11 times. The national Sevens Championship, started in 1954, has been won 10 times.
AAC has also produced a respectable number of international rugby players for all representative teams in Holland, youth and Ladies included.
Since 1972 AAC organizes the very successful and internationaly renowned International Amsterdam Heineken Sevens Tournament.
Since 1992 AAC also organizes the International Amsterdam Ladies Sevens Tournament. |
